Acceptance of terms

The price payable shall be that displayed at the time of ordering.

Ordering and Payment

Payment on-line is normally by PayPal. Mail-order payment is normally by cheque made payable to Suzanne Askham. If you prefer to pay by cash or direct bank transfer, please contact us to arrange this. All goods must be paid for before being shipped.


We aim to process your order as soon as it is received and paid for and aim to despatch your goods within 3 business days by first class post.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR 2019  to send products to you by mail order. On occasion we may contact you with information and updates about Suzanne Askham. If you do not wish us to do this, simply let us know and we will remove your name from our mailing list. We do not share or sell any information about you, or your buying habits with anyone.

Legal Liability

The contracts from the sales of services and goods by Suzanne Askham shall be subject to and governed by English law. Liability of Suzanne Askham shall in no circumstance exceed the original value of the price charged for the goods. Suzanne Askham cannot accept liability for injury or negative consequence of using the products sold or the services offered.

Cancellation and return

If the buyer is not delighted with their goods including audio CD programs they can be returned within one month for a full refund as long as they are in re-sellable condition. Please be aware we cannot issue a refund to purchasers of the MP3 versions of these products.

Goods must be returned by the Buyer and should be adequately insured during the return journey. The Buyer will receive a refund of all monies paid for the Goods within 10 days of our receipt of the Goods in re-sellable condition.

Goods to be returned must clearly show proof of purchase inside the package

Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Buyer’s fault, the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.

Cancellations to an event can be made up to 14 days prior to the scheduled event date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date will be credited towards future events, however no refunds will be issued. Substitutions will be accepted any time prior to the commencement of the event. All registered attendees will be notified via email and receive a full refund of their course fees in the event of a cancellation.

Individual consultation deposits are made at the time of booking and are non-refundable but are transferrable. Substitutions will be accepted at any time, with prior notification, if you can’t make it to your appointment personally.

A full refund will be issued for events cancelled by Suzanne Askham, unless it is caused by a 3rd party.

Conduct of attendees

We reserve the right at any time and without prior notice to refuse admission to or expel any Attendee who, in our reasonable opinion:

•            Has breached or is likely to breach these Conditions and any Variation (as described in these Terms & Conditions);

•            Has or is likely to commit an offence or otherwise do anything which is unlawful; and/or

•            Behaves or is likely to behave in an unacceptable or unruly manner or in a manner likely to cause offence to other Attendees.

•            All Attendees must follow the reasonable written and/or verbal instructions of staff all times.

•            We reserve the right to require any Attendee to leave the event, or to remove an Attendee from the event, without giving a reason.

•            Any behaviour which may disrupt or impair the experience of other Attendees.

Limitation of liability

Except as may be implied by law where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Seller the remedies of the Buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the Price of the Goods and the Seller shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage whatever.

Disclaimer: Participants of courses and events provided by Suzanne Askham do so at their own risk. Suzanne Askham’s courses are not suitable for those suffering from or suspected to be suffering from mental illness or personality disorders. Suzanne Askham and any other associated companies or persons do not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage or personal injury.

The compact discs (CDs)/MP3s are strictly unsuitable for listening to whilst driving or operating machinery.

It is entirely at the parent’s discretion as to whether they allow their children to listen to the CDs/MP3s.


No waiver by the Seller (whether express or implied) in enforcing any of its rights under this contract shall prejudice its rights to do so in the future.

Force Majeur

The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, shortage or unavailability of Goods, and the Seller shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.


If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.

Changes to terms and conditions

The Seller shall be entitled to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time, but this right shall not affect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by the Buyer upon making a purchase.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
