The Guided Meditation Group

Relax and renew at the Guided Meditation Group

Meditating can be especially easy and enjoyable when you are guided through the process. If you simply enjoy extra guidance, or perhaps find it challenging to stay focused on your own, this is the session for you. Relaxing, calming, and mood-clearing, you’ll leave the session feeling uplifted with renewed energy.

This group meets on Thursdays near Chippenham, Wiltshire. It’s suitable for all abilities, and all are welcome.

We practise an easy sort of meditation. We sit in chairs, and focus on a single, life-enhancing word. There is also the opportunity to talk about whatever comes up, and to gain specific help for any questions you may have.

What happens during a session?

The Guided Meditation Group meets on Thursdays from 12.30 pm to 1.45 pm; price £8.

During the session, there’ll be opportunities to talk and swap notes. You’ll be led into a guided meditation, experiencing a period of silence, and finishing with more guidance specific to the chosen theme so that you emerge relaxed and energised.

If you’d like a quick and easy guide to meditation, you’ll find it here.

Upcoming themes

During July 2018 the theme is ‘Radiance’. When you are doing what you love, you shine with an inner light. People notice that you are glowing. Everything from plants to stars has the same ability, and we are no exception. What does radiance mean to you? In which areas of your life would you like to shine more fully? Come and focus on this uplifting theme on Mondays or Thursdays during July.

Dates are:  5th, 12th, 19th and 26th July at 12.30 pm.
